This months Challenge is 25 Strict Pushups per Day. The Goal is to get an Unbroken set up 25 by the end of the month.
Strict Pushup Tips:
Practice planks to start. Screw starfish hands into the floor.
Draw in at the naval. Squeeze your thighs and glutes.
Lower down with elbows at your sides. If you start to break, come to your knees, until you build your strength. You can stack ab mats underneath your chest, and come only as far, as you can stay in a tight plank.
Build strength for pushups by:
Practicing plank, back extentions, core work.
Bench press 5 x 5 Wendler-like protocol.
Practice pushups daily.
Elbows flaring out. Keep elbows as close to your sides as possible.
Dropping your belly, and breaking the tight, braced, plank body position.
Rising the hips. Keep the whole body squeezing in tight. Do not break at the hips.
