Specialized Strength Program
What are your goals? Improve overall strength? Get stronger for CrossFit workouts? Learn basic movement standards for most lifts? Meet other athletes with similar interests? Gain confidence with heavier weights?
The Specialized Strength Program is designed to meet all these goals and more. Structured as a 12 week program broken into two 4 week sessions you will receive:
- Individualized coaching and spotting to improve technique and push past weight plateaus
- Weekly guided lifting schedule and program
- Personalized instruction on movement variations to accommodate physical limitations including suggestions for mobility work * Access to Beyond the Whiteboard to track progress and milestones
- Membership in a private Facebook group for support and encouragement
Class Sessions Classes meet twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6-7:30 pm. With a make up session on Saturday at 10am
Program Methodology: Specialized Strength is a progressive program for any level of lifter. You will be required to complete two lifting sessions per week. Athletes will start by learning the basics of squats, strict press, bench press, and deadlift. There will be variations of these lifts each week the Volume, advanced set/rep schemes and accessory work will be specific to the cycle. By the end of this program participants will build a base strength needed to improve the Power Lifts, some components of the Olympic Lifts, and basic CrossFit movements. Each 4 weeks builds on the last using a proven diverse training methods to develop skills and ultimately make you stronger. Athletes should be able to increase weights and Rx MORE workouts in terms of weight.
The cost is $265/4 week session and includes unlimited CrossFit classes.
